Fork in the lake

This a photo we took in Vevey, Lac Leman, Switzerland. A strange sculpture in the shallow part of the lake. This giant fork sculpture was created by Jean-Pierre Zaugg and Georges Favre in 1995. They are both Swiss artists. From here, if you turn around you will see the food museum, the Alimentarium.

Street Artists – the best artists

Forget all those celebrity artists and take a walk round any city to look at some real works of creative art. In London it is around the East End, especially around Brick Lane and there are so many examples that change quite rapidly. It is an outside art gallery and you need to be looking up and down as well as around you. If we weren’t looking down we would have missed this Art You Might Miss 2 East End Street Art piece. It is probably no more than 20cm tall but it is so clever with the shadows drawn onto the pavement as if the sun is rising from behind where the actual wall is. If you are in London for whatever length of time you should visit this part of the city. Copyright Paul Andrews and Caroline Schmutz, Junagarh Media, http://www.junagarhmedia.co.uk

Space Invaders – Hiding out on a rooftop near you

Just next to the Lausanne Cathedral in Switzerland and looking down on the rooftops we could see this space invader. It could be the work of the artist Invader but I haven’t checked. "Space invador", The invaders, Space invader, Lausanne, Switzerland 04711 It is a great location. Copyright Paul Andrews and Caroline Schmutz, http://www.junagarhmedia.co.uk.
