Emily Galton Exhibition Carnegie Library Herne Hill Lambeth London

We went to a private viewing of the work of Emily Galton last night currently on show at the Carnegie Library in Herne Hill, South London. This is a link to the library http://www.lambeth.gov.uk/places/carnegie-library. And this is link to Emily http://www.emilygalton.co.uk/.

Street Artists – the best artists

Forget all those celebrity artists and take a walk round any city to look at some real works of creative art. In London it is around the East End, especially around Brick Lane and there are so many examples that change quite rapidly. It is an outside art gallery and you need to be looking up and down as well as around you. If we weren’t looking down we would have missed this Art You Might Miss 2 East End Street Art piece. It is probably no more than 20cm tall but it is so clever with the shadows drawn onto the pavement as if the sun is rising from behind where the actual wall is. If you are in London for whatever length of time you should visit this part of the city. Copyright Paul Andrews and Caroline Schmutz, Junagarh Media, http://www.junagarhmedia.co.uk

Space Invaders – Hiding out on a rooftop near you

Just next to the Lausanne Cathedral in Switzerland and looking down on the rooftops we could see this space invader. It could be the work of the artist Invader but I haven’t checked. "Space invador", The invaders, Space invader, Lausanne, Switzerland 04711 It is a great location. Copyright Paul Andrews and Caroline Schmutz, http://www.junagarhmedia.co.uk.
