Somebody Painted the Sky

Rainbows are amazing. They even brighten up a drab Paddington skyline. And the physics behind them is wonderful as well. Somebody Painted the Sky Arc en Ciel Paddington And just think that the splitting of light into those various colours might at this very moment be helping you read this. See DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) You will either be interested or at least it might help your insomnia. But it is very important to all us Internauts. Now If I Was A Betting Man

Fortunately for me I’m not. It looks very enticing at times in that somebody has to win but invariably there has to be a lot of losers as well for there to be a big winner. My partner took this photo of some very good street art in the East End of London. brokeLads East London Street Art It is a very detailed piece of work and is a play on a well known chain of betting shops in the UK. Morges Waterfront and Harbour

Switzerland, if you have never visited it, is a very beautiful country, you could say a photogenic country. It is very easy to take pictures of lovely vistas. This is a photo that I took one sunny morning looking out over the water of the very calm Lac Leman. Morges Waterfront and Harbour Morges is one of many, almost sleepy little towns nestled beside the lake. Try it, you will like it. Happy Camper – Happiness is VW

It’s a shame that even Brazil has stopped making these works of art. In our ever more efficient and safety conscious world here is an example of a favourite of so many people. Bubbles lift you up

I was extremely lucky with timing when I took this photo. The little girl was jumping up to catch a bubble blown by a man blowing bubbles for children on a sunny morning in Lausanne, Switzerland. Bubbles Lift You Up Place de la Palud Lausanne Switzerland Copyright http://www.junagarhmedia.co.uk

Cool Cuban Cat – Sancti Spiritus Cuba

This cat was not phased by the people coming and going into this building which I think was one of the new shops being operated in the city of Sancti Spiritus in Cuba. SONY DSC Truly a cool cat. Copyright Paul Andrews and Caroline Schmutz, http://www.junagarhmedia.co.uk

The Old Kings Head

I haven’t had the pleasure of going for a drink in this pub although I should have by now. It does look fairly traditional East End boozer. The outside is amazing. Check out these superb green tiles. Space Invaders – Hiding out on a rooftop near you

Just next to the Lausanne Cathedral in Switzerland and looking down on the rooftops we could see this space invader. It could be the work of the artist Invader but I haven’t checked. 2015 London Marathon – not long to go

It is but a few weeks before the next London marathon. We will be able to watch in their 10s of 1000s the very dedicated people of all different abilities try to get round the grueling course. Here is a photo from last year’s even with many people to be seen on each side of the road going in both directions. And the band played on.
