All over Cuba you can see statues of Jose Marti. Here he presides over the very pretty plaza in the city of Sancti Spiritus. Copyright Paul Andrews and Caroline Schmutz, Junagarh Media, http://www.junagarhmedia.co.uk

Legless dog seen in Cuba
It was actually a small dog resting it’s legs. Seen here sitting on the doorstep of what I suspect is the owner’s house in Sancti Spiritus. Copyright Paul Andrews and Caroline Schmutz, junagarh Media, http://www.junagarhmedia.co.uk
Che is Everywhere – Even in a car’s headlight
Sancti Spiritus is a small city in Cuba. It has a very pretty centre and the people are really friendly. Near the centre, on one day when we were there recently, I saw this Opel Kapitan in good condition. The owner must be a big Che fan as there is an image of the great man on the headlights of the car. Cool Cuban Cat – Sancti Spiritus Cuba
This cat was not phased by the people coming and going into this building which I think was one of the new shops being operated in the city of Sancti Spiritus in Cuba. Truly a cool cat. Copyright Paul Andrews and Caroline Schmutz, http://www.junagarhmedia.co.uk
Cuban band playing on a Sunday morning
I’m hoping that with the thaw in relations between Cuba and the US that they won’t lose too much of the many good things that go with their alternative system of government. They have considering their GDP such amazing health and education systems and as in this photo a lot of natural talent in the arts. This was taken in Parque Serafin Sanchez in the Cuban city of Sancti Spiritus on a sunny Sunday morning. On one of our previous trips there was already a very low quality American film being played on the bus journey we took between two cities. This is already the case all over South America so we can only hope that Cuba pushes back a little. Copyright Junagarh Media, http://www.junagarhmedia.co.uk.
