Che is Everywhere – Even in a car’s headlight

Sancti Spiritus is a small city in Cuba. It has a very pretty centre and the people are really friendly. Near the centre, on one day when we were there recently, I saw this Opel Kapitan in good condition. Che is Everywhere Opel Kapitan Sancti Spiritus Cuba The owner must be a big Che fan as there is an image of the great man on the headlights of the car. Week-End de la Céramique

Last weekend we went to the Week-End de la Céramique on a sunny but cold day in Morges on the shore of Lac Leman in Switzerland. It takes place over two days during the Fête de la Tulipe. SONY DSC. Copyright Paul Andrews and Caroline Schmutz, Junagarh Media, http://www.junagarhmedia.co.uk

Travelling – The Yellow Taxis of Asuncion

These days as we only get so many weeks holiday a year and have to spend the rest of our time working to pay for them we do go to this part of South America a lot because we have friends there. So here is a photo from a central and very wooded square in the center of Asuncion in Paraguay. Taxi! Taxi! Taxi! Asuncion It was interesting to see all the yellow cars lined up waiting for customers. Copyright Paul Andrews and Caroline Schmutz, Junagarh Media, http://www.junagarhmedia.co.uk

Shirts for sale – A Street Seller hangs out his wares in Asuncion

A multitude of sports shirts were on sale here in the center of Asuncion. Paraguay is an interesting place. I still find it strange that the capital city closes at midday on a Saturday. Anybody Want a Shirt Street Seller Asuncion That said it is almost a forgotten gem among South American nations. Paris in the Springtime – Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris In the Pink

Paris is a small and beautiful city with its narrow streets and wonderful sites and experiences. It is especially so in the Springtime as seen here when we visited the cathedral of Notre Dame when all the blossom was on the trees. Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris In the Pink So when are you going? Morges Waterfront and Harbour

Switzerland, if you have never visited it, is a very beautiful country, you could say a photogenic country. It is very easy to take pictures of lovely vistas. This is a photo that I took one sunny morning looking out over the water of the very calm Lac Leman. Morges Waterfront and Harbour Morges is one of many, almost sleepy little towns nestled beside the lake. Try it, you will like it. Les invisibles sont invincibles

A photo of some simple but perhaps prophetic graffiti from a wall near the centre of Lausanne in Switzerland.
