Paris in the Springtime – Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris In the Pink

Paris is a small and beautiful city with its narrow streets and wonderful sites and experiences. It is especially so in the Springtime as seen here when we visited the cathedral of Notre Dame when all the blossom was on the trees. Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris In the Pink So when are you going? Versailles France Putting Nature Straight

Versailles is an amazing place and must have been such a financial drain on France until the French people decided to take matters into their own hands and the rest is history as they say. And Versailles is certainly history on the grandest of scales as can be seen here in the photo of one of walks by the lake or Grand Canal as it is known. Straight Lines of Versailles Nature has been tamed and made to grow how the designer wanted it to grow. And all this on a perfect spring day. And this is England – part 1

England can be a truly amazing place if you can get away from the large cities of little boxes that people live in. Let’s face it we are never going to win any architecture prizes for the little brick huts that they call homes here when you look at Europe and the way they preserve their cities. Whereas we tear ours down and build all over the beautiful countryside. Once you can get away from all those monstrosities of recent planning you might be able to find a place like this. "Green Path", Much Wenlock, Shropshire, UK The photo was taken near Much Wenlock in Shropshire on what is Wenlock Edge, a long wooded escarpment that was once a coral reef. We were walking along the edge one Spring day and we noticed this path of garlic plants between the trees. It took two of us to take the photograph because the clouds were moving so quickly across the sky so I waited for the clouds to part momentarily before indicating that this was the moment to take the photo. You can see more of our work on the Junagarh Flickr site or on our website http://www.junagarhmedia.co.uk. All of our photographs are available in a range of formats and this one as a blank greeting card as well. So don’t forget other cards like these.
